Born in Italy, Felice Bizzarro moved to Canada in 1962, and on retiring from York University in 1999, he moved to Wasaga Beach. He took up painting after watching and being inspired by a television program on the subject, hosted by Bob Ross. Although painting is a favourite hobby, Fellice’s work is exhibited at many shows in the South Georgian Bay communities. Primarily working in oils, he specializes in wet on wet visionary images and techniques.
Felice leaves us with a legacy of his beautiful paintings inspired from his travels; and from memories of places in his mind.
